Proper nutrition requires using a lot of liquid. In summer it is especially important to ensure that the body doesn’t suffer from excessive heat. But there is a problem – it is very difficult to quench thirst, we always want to drink.

I want to offer some quick and delicious refreshments. They are composed from natural ingredients and will definitely save you from heat and thirst this summer.

  1. Strawberry, lemon and basil

To make this cocktail, you will need 4-6 strawberries, sliced in half; 1/2 of chopped lemon; a small handful of fresh basil; cold filtered water; ice.

Pour ice and fruit into a pitcher. Then chop the basil leaves and add them to the pitcher. It is an important point, as shredded basil gives a better flavor. Then, fill it with cold filtered water and let a drink infuse for about 1 hour. Also, you can pierce the fruit with a fork so that they will give more juice.

  1. Strawberry, lime, cucumber

For the preparation you need the following ingredients: 1 cup of strawberries; 1 cup of sliced cucumbers; 2 limes; 1/4 cup of mint leaves; cold filtered water; ice.

Ice, sliced lime, strawberries and cucumbers should be put in a jar. Then chop the mint leaves and also add them into the pitcher. Pour all the ingredients with water and crush the fruit a bit. Let the cocktail infuse for at least 1 hour.

  1. Orange and cucumber

Take the following ingredients: 2 large oranges; 1 lemon; 1/2 of a large cucumber; 1 handful of fresh mint; cold filtered water; ice.

Cut the fruit and cucumber and put them into a pitcher. Add some ice. Then pour the water. You can also mash fruit a little for more juice. Chop the mint and add it to the pitcher.

  1. Blueberries and oranges

Ingredients: 2 oranges; a handful of blueberries; cold filtered water; ice.

Cut the oranges and add them to the jug along with blueberries and ice. Pour the resulting mass with water and place in refrigerator for 2-24 hours to infuse. You can also crush the blueberries to get more juice.

  1. Grapefruit and rosemary

The ingredients are as follows: 1/2 of grapefruit; a few sprigs of rosemary; cold filtered water; ice.

What could be simpler – cut grapefruit and put it in a jar with rosemary. Pour cold water and leave the drink in the refrigerator overnight.

  1. Blueberry and lavender

Ingredients: 250 grams of blueberries; lavender flowers; cold filtered water; ice.

For the preparation, add berries and lavender flowers into the jug and fill them with water. Berries can be suppressed, so they give more juice. Put the beverage into the fridge for half an hour. Add some ice before serving.

  1. Raspberries, rose petals and vanilla

For this cocktail you should take 200 grams of raspberries; a stick of vanilla; some rose petals; cold filtered water; ice.

Mix all the ingredients in a jar and fill with cold filtered water. Leave in the refrigerator overnight.

  1. Mango and lime

Needed ingredients: 2 cups of sliced mango; 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice; 4 tablespoons of sugar; cold filtered water; ice.


All the ingredients, except ice, should be crushed with a blender. Add ice before using.

  1. Kiwi and cucumber

Ingredients: 6 peeled kiwi fruit; 1 large peeled cucumber; sugar; cold filtered water; ice.

Mix kiwi, cucumber, sugar and 2 cups of water in a blender. Then pour this mixture into the jug and add another 4 cups of water. Before serving, add ice and decorate with slices of kiwi.

  1. Melon, lime and raspberry

Ingredients: 1 small ripe melon; 1/2 cup of sugar; 5 limes; 1 cup of raspberries; cold filtered water; ice.

Cut the melon in half, remove seeds, cleanse the flesh from the peel and cut into slices. Next, you should crush the melon in a blender and strain the juice. Pour melon juice into the jug and add 4 cups of water. Squeeze the juice from the lime, add sugar and stir until dissolved. Pour lime juice into the jug and add the raspberries and ice.
