Protein-vitamin diet

protein-vitamin dietThis effective and simple protein-vitamin diet will help you to get good shape. It is designed for ten days, and will help to get rid of 5-7 kg of excess weight. The diet is easy tolerated, not harmful to health and doesn’t cause hunger.

As the name suggests, during this diet it is allowed to eat only protein and vitamin food. Fats and carbohydrates should be completely excluded from your nutrition as well as any sauces and condiments (ketchup, mayonnaise, sour cream, etc). However, the moderate use of salt is admitted. Protein and vitamin components of the diet should be taken separately, during the different meals. We all know that separate nutrition by itself promotes weight loss.

During the diet you can drink mineral water, plain water (preferably hot), teas and herbal infusions in any quantity (all without sugar). Such drinks as lemonades, juices, beer and other alcohol are strictly prohibited. You should eat six times a day, every 2.5 hours. Thus, hunger doesn’t arise.

The approximate menu is as follows:

8.00 – two boiled eggs (protein component);

10.30 – a grapefruit (vitamin component);

13.00 – 200 grams of boiled lean meat (protein component);

15.30 – two apples (vitamin component);

18.00 – 200 grams of boiled fish (protein component);

20.30 – one large orange (vitamin component).

As the protein components you can use such products as eggs, meat and fish, low-fat cottage cheese, feta cheese, and the other white, low-fat cheeses, low-fat fowl, boiled sausage.

As vitamin components you can take fruit, raw or cooked vegetables without seasoning – beets, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers and so on. It is not recommended to choose too sweet fruits (grapes, bananas, apricots, persimmons), because they contain a lot of carbohydrates. For the same reason, don’t use potatoes.

If you are not satisfied with the result, you can repeat the cycle of the diet after the break for a week or two. To preserve the result at the end of the diet, try to limit your intake of simple carbohydrates and animal fats at least for the first time.

Such a diet is contraindicated for people with pathologies of the gastrointestinal tract and kidneys.
