How to boost immunity

immune systemWhen you feel the need to improve the immune system, do not rush to take pills. Proper nutrition and a well-chosen diet can help to strengthen the immune system. Such a diet should include foods that contribute to the production of antibodies, as well as essential vitamins and minerals. It is recommended to eat fresh fruits and juices. In addition, you should avoid sugary foods, fried foods and, of course, alcohol.

Try to use the following products for preparation of dishes:

a variety of condiments – mustard, horseradish, and various herbs; dried and fresh mushrooms; germinated seeds of oat and wheat; fresh juices from vegetables and berries; cereals – oats, buckwheat, barley; pumpkin and sunflower seeds; nuts – cashews, hazelnuts, pine; corn bread, bread with bran; dried apricots and raisins; dried, fresh and frozen berries – raspberries, lingonberries, cranberry, sea buckthorn, black currant; fruit – kiwi, bananas, apples, pears; citrus fruits – tangerines, lemons, oranges and grapefruit, fresh vegetables – garlic, onions, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots and beets; cheese and other dairy products; seafood; chicken; fish (especially cod and tuna), lean meat – pork and beef.

In addition, I want to offer a couple of diets to strengthen the immune system and overall health.

Breakfast – oatmeal with nuts and berries, filled with low-fat natural yogurt, one cup of herbal beverage.

Snack – an apple and grapefruit.

Lunch – a light chicken broth with fresh herbs and vegetables, fillet of cod, orange juice.

Afternoon snack – fruit cream – apple, banana and kiwi whipped in a blender with yogurt.

Dinner – stew with prunes and allsorts from vegetables, a glass of broth hips.

Before going to bed – kefir with dried apricots.

Breakfast – fruit mix – kiwi, bananas, yogurt and ice, a glass of green tea.

Snack – freshly made orange juice.

Lunch – vegetable soup with rye rusks, fish fillet with vegetables, pears. For their preparation, clean the pears and cook in boiling water with a sauce of black currants.

Afternoon snack – cabbage juice.

Dinner – eggplants with dill, stuffed vegetables, poured with sour cream,  a glass of kefir.

Before going to bed – a glass of sour milk.
