Fruit diet

fruit dietFruit diet is considered to be one of the most rigorous and debilitating diets. But in fact it is not so terrible. In addition, it greatly helps to lose weight and cleanse the body of accumulated harmful substances.

It may last from two – to seven days. It is recommended to start with a minimum term. An important rule of fruit diet – to exclude the use of alcohol, tobacco and any medications. It is also necessary to adhere to the menu fully: not to eat and not to drink the products that are not listed in the ration.

You should control the body’s water balance. You need to drink one glass of warm melted or purified water in small sips every hour. In addition, this procedure contributes to blunting hunger and normalizes the digestive process.

The approximate menu:

First day

Breakfast: 150 grams of natural yogurt or half a glass of low-fat kefir and 50 grams of cottage cheese mixed with chopped fresh berries or fruit (you can use any fruit except bananas).

Lunch: one big cup of warm vegetable broth, fruit salad, seasoned with two tablespoons of natural yogurt and a cup of warm green tea.

Afternoon snack: a grapefruit and half a glass of kefir or sour milk.

Dinner: salad made of fresh fruits and boiled shrimps. Prepare a special beverage: a glass of kefir with chopped fresh green celery and parsley. Then, drink warm tea or infusion of rose hips.

Second day

Breakfast: two fresh peeled kiwi fruit, one cup of natural yogurt and a glass of green tea.

Lunch: Prepare a fruit salad with boiled chicken or turkey breast. You can use  fruits as orange, kiwi, pear and others. Half a cup of vegetable broth and a glass of warm water with half teaspoon of lemon juice. Drink it in small sips.

Afternoon snack: a grapefruit and half a glass of sour milk or yogurt.

Dinner: salad from fresh apples and turkey breast – 150 grams, flesh of an orange or three plums, mixed with cottage cheese in equal proportions (a portion should be no more than 100 grams). Compote of fruit or fresh fruit juice.

Dinner should be no later than 7 pm.

Third Day

For the following days of the fruit diet you should use products both from the first and the second day.
