Canadian diet

Canadian dietCanadian diet belongs to the low-calorie ones. It is designed for 7 days and helps to lose weight by 3-5 kg. Due to its composition, timing and the number of kilograms for which you can lose weight, this diet is very similar to liquid diets based on vegetable soups.

So, as you guessed, the basis of our ration is a soup. For its preparation you can use: cabbage (white cabbage, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower), onions, carrots, tomatoes, leek, peppers, beans. It is not desirable to use potatoes in this diet. This is not a mono-diet. You are permitted to use vegetable salads and unsweetened fruit. You definitely need to exclude: sweet, bakery products, cereals, coffee, alcohol, meat products, fish, cheese.

It is recommended to drink plenty of water, spend more time outdoors and try to do at least a minimum of exercises. You can eat soup in any amounts, but it is advisable to divide it into 5-6 meals throughout the day. If hunger still haunts you, eat salads and fruit as a snack. You will be able to endure such a regime for a week.

The approximate menu of the Canadian diet for each day of the week:

Monday: soup and fruit – except bananas.

Tuesday: soup and steamed vegetables – except beans, potatoes, green peas and corn. Use lemon juice and herbs for seasoning.

Wednesday: soup, fruits and vegetables.

Thursday: soup, vegetables and low-fat cottage cheese.

Friday: soup, 300 grams of steamed meat or fish.

Saturday: soup, vegetables, lean meat or fish.

Sunday: soup, brown rice and vegetables.

If necessary, you can repeat the diet no more than once a month. If you have health problems it is recommended to consult with a physician.
