Until recently, I didn’t think of such a beneficial thing as black cumin. And in vain! It turns out that it has a positive effect on human body, improves health and allows to get rid of many diseases. Studies have shown that this spice is rich in antioxidants, and so it effectively combats cholesterol, stimulates digestion and reduces fluid retention in the organism. This spice is considered to be one of the most powerful tools for health improvement and cleansing the body. In addition, the use of black seeds helps in losing weight. Here are a few examples of how this spice helps to remove excess kilograms.

Eat black cumin on an empty stomach

In the morning it is recommended to drink a glass of warm water with lemon juice on an empty stomach, and then eat 5 grams of cumin seeds, chewing them well.

Add black cumin to your favorite dishes

An excellent way to give a special flavor to the dish is to add black cumin! But do not overdo: it is enough to add a teaspoon of cumin in your favorite food just once a day.

Make teas and decoctions with black cumin

This spice is well suited for experiments with tea. Try several options.

1.  Take 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, pour them with a glass of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 15 minutes and then strain the drink. You should take 2 tablespoons 3-4 times daily before meals.

2. You can add other ingredients, for example honey. Take 1 tablespoon of cumin seeds, pour with 1 glass of water. Boil it for 3 minutes, leave to infuse for half an hour, and strain. Before use, add honey. Take 0.25 glasses of decoction 3 times a day before meals.

3. Take 3/4 teaspoon of ground black cumin, add into a glass of boiled water, 1 tablespoon of honey and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder. Take this mixture for 30 minutes before breakfast and before bedtime.

Black cumin oil

It is used as a diuretic, cholagogue, laxative and an immunomodulatory agent.


It is recommended to take the oil of black cumin 2 times a day, morning and evening – 1 teaspoon 15 minutes before eating. To enhance the effect, you can add 1 tablespoon of honey and drink 1/2 glass of boiled water. The result will delight you!


You can also use the oil for massage. First, heat the oil in your hands and then apply it in circular motions from ankles to waist. 5-7 minutes of daily massage is sufficient to notice pleasant changes. It is especially helpful to mix the black cumin oil with grapefruit oil.

But caution, as always, is on the first place. Do not overuse the black cumin – in large quantities it can cause stomach irritation. It is prohibited for people with high acidity, gastritis, stomach ulcer and the presence of gallstones. The cumin increases sugar in the blood, and therefore it is also contraindicated for diabetics.
