Benefits of pears
This fruit is not inferior to the lemon by content of vitamin C, and the number of folic acid exceeds even blackcurrants. Pears! We briefly talked about pears, but let us consider them more specifically.
The fruits of pear contain virtually all the nutrients: vitamins – A, C, E, H, K, PP, group B; macroelements (such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, phosphorus, chlorine, sulfur), trace elements (iron, zinc, iodine), organic acids, essential oils, flavonoids and other biologically active substances. If you watch your figure, you have nothing to worry about. Caloric content of pears is not high – 40-50 calories per 100 grams. Pears seem sweeter than apples, but this is deceptive – apples just contain more acid. Therefore pear is well suited for those who wish to lose weight. Especially that due to the organic acids pears improve digestion, metabolism and stimulate activity of the kidneys and liver.
These fruits are useful in anemia. You can prepare such a dessert: peel large ripe pears, mash them and add a spoonful of honey. Pears are indispensable in gastritis with high acidity; they neutralize dyspepsia (bloating). It is also worth mentioning that the pears are able to suppress the cough; have a diuretic and disinfecting effect, clean blood vessels and reduce inflammation.
Pears are recommended for severe fatigue, headaches and tachycardia. Eating pears has a beneficial effect on the state of the digestive tract, but in the case of exacerbation they should be baked.
Pear is one of those fruits in which not only the flesh but also the skin is also helpful. It contains a large number of fiber and cellular tissues. The sweet taste of the fruit is not achieved by to the presence of sugar, but because of fructose which is quickly absorbed by the organism and gives it energy. Therefore, if during the diet you wish sweet, feel free to take a pear!
During the diet you can cook desserts from this fruit. You can bake it in the oven with nuts and honey. However, it is better to use it in raw form. Baking without honey makes the fruit softer and no extra calories will not annoy or frighten you! This can favorably effect on the bowels. Pears are usually baked in the skin.
Dried pear is perfect for a snack when you’re limited to a strict menu. If you have problems with the intestines it is not desirable to eat a lot of raw pears, it can cause constipation. Don’t forget not to eat pears on an empty stomach! And after you’ve eaten fresh pears, you are categorically not allowed to drink water, eat meat and other junk food.
