90-day diet

????????????????????????????????????????A “90-day diet” is also known as a diet of Breda Hrobat and Mojca Poljansek, which is named after the authors of a popular book “90-day diet of separate nutrition”. Therefore, this diet presents a program of specific combination of products, a so called four-day cycle of the separate nutrition. The authors promise that you will lose up to 25 extra pounds for the three months if you will stick to the recommendations correctly. Moreover, you will lose weight after its completion for 3 pounds over the next 3 months.

The main point of the diet is in alternation of the cycle within 90 days. This number of days is enough to change the metabolism and adapt the body. A four-day cycle of the diet consists of four ways of nutrition: protein, starch, carbohydrate and vitamins.

Day 1 – protein (meat and dairy products, vegetables and a small piece of bread);

Day 2 – starch (the complex carbohydrates: cereals, legumes, root crops and vegetables);

Day 3 – carbohydrate (pastry, baking without milk additions and eggs, and for dinner – sweets such as cakes, ice cream, chocolate);

Day 4 – vitamins (fruits, nuts and seeds, you can combine them with vegetables if you want).

The 29th day of the diet is a fasting day, and there will be 3 of them for the entire period. It is the day after the vitaminous day and before the protein one. This day envisages a complete rejection of food; it is allowed to drink only non-carbonated water.

Breakfast and dinner should be the lightest meal of the whole day, so lunch will be the most plentiful. You should keep to the schedule, and have lunch and dinner between 12 am and 8 pm. It is recommended to drink plenty of water at least 2 liters a day, and eat seasonal fruit, green tea, juices or dried fruit, but always without sugar. You are also allowed to eat a fruit between the meals. You should exclude alcohol from your ration, and don’t forget to do sports, at least a few minutes a day, it will qualitatively simplify the process of losing weight.

Don’t worry if you have interrupted the diet. Start with the day where you stopped and continue the course. Patience and desire are the keys to your success!
