One of the main advantages of lentils is that it is very nutritious and quickly brings the feeling of satiety. At the same time, you won’t get hungry again soon. This product creates volume in the intestines, and thanks to the protein content the process of absorption of nutrients slows down. Thus, glucose is maintained at the required level for a long time.

However, be careful – excessive use of lentils may bring dangerous inconveniences:

– meteorism;

– formation of kidney stones and related diseases;

– hyperkalemia or excess of potassium in the organism.

lentils – 100 grams

celery – 1 piece

potatoes – 3 pieces

carrots – 1 piece

onion – 1 piece

vegetable oil – 3 tablespoons

garlic

salt and pepper

Soak lentil and wait for it increased in volume, cover with water and put to boil. Next, slice the potatoes; finely chop the onion and celery. Carrots can be grated.
