Oatmeal diet with apples
Oats are rich in essential amino acids such as lysine and tryptophan. It also contains volatile oils, gums, vitamins B1, B2, B6, carotene, vitamin K, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, iron, chromium, manganese, silicon, zinc, nickel, fluorine, iodine, sulfur, oxalic acid, malonic acid, erucic acid.
Oats are very important for metabolism of the nervous tissue and blood, hair and nails, cartilages and bones. Oatmeal improves the functioning of the liver and pancreas and helps the absorption of vitamins; often used it for anemia and diseases of the stomach.
All these factors make oatmeal just an indispensable product of our nutrition. Decoction of oats with honey can be used as a general tonic, as well as in inflammatory diseases of the stomach, intestine, pain in the joints. For this purpose you should take 1 cup of oat grains, pour 1 liter of boiled water and simmer until 1/4 of the liquid evaporation. Then strain and add honey. Take half a cup of the decoction 3-4 times a day before meals.
Oatmeal is often used in different diets for weight loss. Here is an approximate menu of a similar diet with apples:
breakfast: 1 plate of oatmeal, 2 apples. You can add apples into oatmeal or eat for the dessert;
lunch: 1 plate of oatmeal, 3 apples, 100 g of cottage cheese. You can add 1 teaspoon of honey into oatmeal;
dinner: 4 apples, 200 g of cottage cheese.
Every three days in addition to the menu, you can eat up to 300 grams of any vegetables you wish. This diet will help you to get rid of 4 excess pounds per week.
