Bananas are rich in vitamins B1, B2, B3, B9, A, PP, C, E, macro- and microelements – calcium, potassium, sodium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, iron, zinc. They give energy, soothe the nervous system and normalize sleep; increase the amount of serotonin in the blood, which helps to improve mood, so a person feels happy.

This fruit has also an enveloping property and protects the mucous membrane of the digestive system. They are effective in inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and are used in complex treatment of diseases of the liver, biliary tract, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, hypertension, circulatory failure, diabetes, dysentery.

So, banana diet lasts just for three days. The diet is quite strict, but effective. During this time, you are guaranteed to remove your 2-3 extra pounds. Menu is easy to remember: 3 bananas and three glasses of skim milk per day. This is your ration for the whole day, which should be divided into three meals – banana_shakebreakfast, lunch and dinner. Milk can be replaced by low-fat kefir or any other dairy products low in lactose. You can make a cocktail or yogurt using these products, but without sugar addition. Except bananas and milk you can drink water and green tea in any quantity.

Such diet provides reduction of puffiness and excretion of toxins, improves skin condition and general state of health.

Within one – two weeks after the course you should avoid fatty and sweet products in order not to regain the lost weight. It is recommended to consume vegetables, fruits, wholegrain products, cereals, fish, low fat cottage cheese.
