Kefir is one of the most useful dairy products with a unique set of nutrients and elements required for our organism. Kefir is digested three times faster than milk, and stimulates the digestion as a whole, so that other food begins to be absorbed faster as well.
People, constantly using kefir, do not suffer from dysbacteriosis and heaviness in the stomach. The fact is that the lactic acid bacteria activate the bowel function, and do not allow pathogenic microorganisms to proliferate; as well as inhibit the processes of fermentation and putrefaction, cleave hard digestible protein casein, promote absorption of vitamins, and such minerals as calcium and iron.
Kefir diet has many variations. They differ in the accompanying ingredients, as well as in the terms: 3 days, 4 days, 7 days and 9 day – the reviews about different interpretations are always positive. The most popular of them are three options of kefir diets that vary in degree of rigidity and duration. Let me offer them to your attention:
The first variant – kefir mono-diet. During the day you need to drink 1-1.5 liters of kefir. You should divide it into 5-6 portions and drink at regular intervals. The duration of such a diet lasts no more than 3 days.
The second variant – mixed – kefir-vegetable or kefir-fruit diet. As in the previous option, you need to drink 1-1.5 liters of kefir per day and a supplement to the ration – 0.5-1 kg of fruit or vegetables. It is not recommended to choose citrus fruits for this purpose – they are poorly compatible with kefir. The duration of this diet – 5-6 days. Such combinations as kefir-banana diet, kefir-apple diet and kefir-cucumber diet are very popular and effective.
The third variant – a diverse menu. This is probably the most interesting option, which lasts 7 days. It will not be difficult, as the menu is not bored as the previous. All the products should be cooked and eaten without addition of salt and sugar.
Menu for 7 days:
Day 1 – five boiled potatoes and 1.5 liters of kefir.
Day 2 – 100 grams of boiled chicken and 1.5 liters of kefir.
Day 3 – 100 grams of boiled meat and 1.5 liters of kefir.
Day 4 – 100 grams of boiled fish and 1.5 liters of kefir.
Day 5 – fruit and vegetables (except citrus, bananas and grapes) and 1.5 liters of kefir.
Day 6 – only kefir.
Day 7 – only mineral water.
Positive factor is that kefir diet for quick weight loss is well tolerated by the body and is safe for health. It doesn’t require much sacrifice and effort of will. Nutritionists recommend kefir diet in three proposed variants as fairly balanced and reliable for the organism as a good discharge alternates with a moderately low-calorie nutrition. Such menu and the appropriate duration of the diet don’t injure the body.
