When we decide to lose weight, we often don’t know where to start, or just don’t do enough for the result we hope to achieve. So, let’s find out how to lose weight properly and burn more fat. Most important we need to do is to increase our metabolism.

So, our day begins with breakfast. The main condition for a good work of metabolism is an obligatory presence of breakfast – so, remember strictly, in any case you shouldn’t miss your morning meal. It is better to start with coffee or green tea. Further, drinking plenty of fluids. Consumption of large amounts of fluid is beneficial for the operation of metabolism. If you find it hard to drink plain water in large amounts, try to add some fruits in it. They will give it taste and contribute to detoxification. But be sure to drink water. The research conducted at the University of Utah have found that people who drank 8-12 glasses of water a day burned more fat than those who drank only 4.

Experts recommend eating meals high in protein for lunch. Our body expends more efforts for the digestion and assimilation of protein foods and so it burns more calories during this time.

The next item is exercises. Any exercises will be more useful than their absence. And almost all types of physical exercises help to increase metabolism! For best results, it is recommended to give preference to interval training.

Afternoon walk. Come out on an afternoon walk, especially if your work transferred you to the sedentary lifestyle. Immobile sitting for one hour after lunch or more reduces the number of enzymes which help to burn fat, for 90 percents!

As for dinner, don’t forget about spices. Such spices as turmeric, cinnamon and ginger are particularly recommended. These spices well stimulate the metabolism. In addition, hot pepper contains the compound called capsaicin, which also has such properties.

Our emotional condition also affects the metabolism. Try to find time to relax or switch to something more pleasant if the problems don’t give you peace of mind. Don’t suffer but fight the negative! Stress slows our metabolism, so the excess negative experiences may negatively affect the figure. Choose your own option for this purpose – herbal bath, meditation, relaxing yoga practice, informal conversation with a close friend or vice versa – a cheerful party!

And of course – healthy sleep. You must give your body a good rest and provide yourself with 7-8 hours of sleep which are strictly recommended by the experts.
