egg dietThousands of women have tested the effectiveness of egg diet, exactly a diet based on the egg yolks. The whole point is in the substance called biotin (vitamin H), which is contained in yolks. It allows you to lose up to 10 kg of excess weight per week, controlling the metabolism of fats in the body and the process of their burning. Biotin being in the human body in large quantities, raspingly speaking, starts the process of expenditure of fat.

In addition, this also leads to the acceleration of carbohydrate metabolism – carbohydrates don’t have time to turn into fat and be deposited in the problem areas. It promotes the assimilation of protein, so this diet can be called a low-carb protein diet. It works with the proteins of any origin, which makes the process of losing weight even more effective. All these qualities make the egg diet fast, efficient and effective.

It would be easy enough to endure the diet, because when boiled egg reaches the stomach, it immediately begins to digest it, bringing a feeling of satiety for a long time. However, the process of digesting is quite long – about three to four hours the egg is in the stomach. Thus, the body expends a lot of energy for digestion that affects the weight loss. It will be very effective if you eat the yolk with some citrus fruits, such as grapefruit. This will prolong the feeling of satiety, accelerate the energy metabolism and positively affect the process of weight loss. This is a very advantageous combination, so this diet is often called egg – citrus diet, egg – orange diet or egg – grapefruit diet.

This version of the diet is designed for seven days, and includes many other useful products: vegetables, fruits, fish, meat, poultry. Thus, the menu is maximally balanced.

The first day:

Breakfast: one grapefruit, two hard-boiled eggs, a cup of green tea.

Lunch: one orange, one hard boiled egg, 150 grams of boiled chicken fillet with salt.

Dinner: two hundred grams of boiled chicken fillet without skin with salt, one glass of kefir.

The second day:

Breakfast: two boiled eggs, a glass of citrus juice.

Lunch: two oranges, 150 grams of boiled or stewed chicken fillet without skin with salt, a glass of mineral water without gas.

Dinner: two boiled eggs, one grapefruit, a glass of milk.

The third day:

Breakfast: a glass of mineral water without gas + 1 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice, one boiled egg.

Lunch: two hundred grams of cooked meat (beef or veal), one grapefruit.

Dinner: two boiled eggs, a glass of mineral water without gas.

The fourth day:

Breakfast: omelet of three eggs (salt, greens).

Lunch: lettuce, two boiled or stewed chicken legs without skin with salt.

Dinner: two grapefruits, one boiled egg, a glass of pure mineral water without gas.

The fifth day:

Breakfast: I suggest you to make a salad according to the following recipe – one boiled carrot, two boiled eggs, 1 tablespoon of low-fat sour cream. Cut the carrots and eggs, add salt, add the greens and sour cream and mix.

Lunch: two fresh carrots, a glass of orange juice.

Dinner: boiled or stewed sea fish drizzled with 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, one boiled egg, a glass of mineral water without gas.

The sixth day:

Breakfast: 150 grams of cottage cheese, a glass of any citrus juice.

Lunch: two grapefruits, two boiled chicken eggs.

We don’t have dinner. You can drink mineral water in any quantity. (If it is too hard for you, you can eat one – two raw eggs.)

The seventh day:

Breakfast: half a grapefruit, two boiled eggs.

Lunch: two hundred grams of boiled meat (beef or veal), one orange.
