Diet of Victoria Beckham

Previously, the pop diva consumed a very small amount of calories to maintain her weight. Her ration comprised only 800 calories. Victoria’s menu consisted of vegetables, fish and steamed chicken, seafood, salads and fruits (except grapes and bananas). Then she became an adherent of the alkaline diet. This diet helps to adjust our ration to maintain the required level of acid and alkaline in our organism. Admirers of this diet (Jennifer Aniston is also among them) argue that it increases energy level and promotes weight loss.
The fact is that we often use harmful acid-forming foods. They are – fats, red meat, processed foods, dairy products, coffee, chocolate, most fruits except citrus, fast food, alcohol, sugar and salt. In addition, stress is also responsible for the formation of acid. Acidic foods can cause weight gain, fatigue and other health problems. Therefore, we need “alkaline” products.
So, the list of products of the alkaline diet, which should be 80% of the ration:
– lemon and watermelon, which have pH level of 9,0. These products perfectly neutralize acid, purify the liver and stimulate the immune system. It happens due to the presence of vitamin C;
– pears, grapes, melon, kiwi, asparagus, seaweed, pineapple, mango, papaya, parsley, cayenne pepper, fruit juices and other products with the level of pH 8,5;
– apples, apricots, berries, carrots, celery, garlic, dried fruits, nuts with the level of pH 8,0. Such products are capable to transform the acidic environment in almost alkaline.
All of these products will also help to normalize blood pressure, saturate the body with vitamins and minerals, clean intestines, improve the blood composition and even regulate hormones. Diet of Victoria is based on such a principle, with great use of cayenne pepper.
General recommendations are as follows. Vegetables should be boiled or you can make fresh juices. Fruit – raw, mousses, jellies and juices. Fish and meat are allowed to use three times a week in boiled or baked form. Use low-fat varieties of marine fish and lean meat (beef, poultry). If you can’t manage without sweet, sometimes you can afford cane sugar, maple syrup, syrup solids or honey.
Breakfast: green and red vegetables, soy milk or low-fat yogurt with fruit (apples, peaches).
Lunch: 150 grams of boiled chicken with a side dish of vegetables, yogurt.
Dinner: 150 grams of fish, salad vegetables, yogurt.
Drinking – water, herbal teas and juices, and it is to be noted: after a meal you can drink just a decoction of herbs. As a snack, you can use the traditional juices and dried fruits.
