cauliflower-dietA diet based on the cauliflower is considered to be very useful. It contains the minimum amount of calories – 30 kcal per 100 grams, and it is well absorbed by the organism. Cauliflower is recommended for strengthening the immune system, since it is rich in many useful elements. This product improves the functioning of the gastrointestinal tract and helps to lose extra kilos quickly. Useful properties of this cabbage are maintained even in the frozen state, so you can use this diet all year round.

The most popular version of the diet with cauliflower is designed for three days. The essence of such regime is to eat 1.5 kg of cabbage per day. Previously you should boil it and divide into 4-5 servings. In the process of boiling the cauliflower you can add herbs and spices. It is desirable to drink water without gas and unsweetened tea.

If you are an adherent of the raw food diet, the next version of the diet will suit you. It involves the use of cauliflower in its fresh form. Menu for the day includes: 800 grams of fresh cauliflower, 300 grams of fresh and ripe tomatoes, lettuce and herbs. Vegetables should be well washed, cut and filled with a mixture of olive oil and a little lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Important – you can’t add salt. You should divide the salad into 4-6 portions and eat during the day.

The next option is a liquid diet – ie soup. For the preparation of soup, you will need to boil 600 grams of cauliflower and 400 grams of chicken. Then, you need to chop the ingredients in a blender. If desired, you can add aromatic herbs. As with the previous salad, you are not allowed to salt the soup, and generally, you cook it without adding fat. You can use the diet up to one week. But at the same time, you should add to the diet some other vegetables or fruits (except bananas).

Be careful. Prolonged use of this diet is inadmissible. Lack of other required nutrients may lead to depletion of the organism. Therefore, it is desirable not to use the diet more than 3 days. On the whole, the diet with cauliflower is considered to be a suitable a way of transition to a balanced low-calorie diet for weight loss.
