Blood Type Diet. Blood Type A

Let’s continue the topic of slimming based on the system of nutrition developed by Dr. D’Adamo. Now it’s time to know the diet for the blood type A.

Blood Type A – agrarian. This group was formed during the transition of humans from the ancient lifestyle as hunters to more settled – agrarian lifestyle. Approximately 37.8% of population have this blood type. Such people are well organized, easy to adapt to teamwork; prefer constancy and sedentarisation.

Strengths: highly adaptable to changes in diet and environment as a whole; subject to a vegetarian diet, the immune and digestive systems are very effective.

Weaknesses: the immune system is still weak and open to all infections; moreover, there is a hypersensitivity of nervous system; digestive system is vulnerable.

The ration for Blood Type A

If you are the owner of this blood group, you are advised to adhere to the complete vegetarianism. Your ration should include such products as soy, vegetables, green salads, cereals, legumes, fruits (except sour varieties – orange, tangerine; rhubarb, papaya, bananas, coconuts), fish (except plaice, halibut, herring, caviar and seafood), sugar – in moderation, dairy products – low-fat cheese and sour milk.

Useful drinks – coffee, green tea, red wine.

Recommended juices: carrot, pineapple, grapefruit, cherry; water with lemon juice.

Harmful drinks – orange juice, black tea, all soda drinks.

Recommendations for slimming

Exclude foods: chicken and turkey, dairy products, wheat, any pepper, ice cream and sugar.

Helpful foods: natural foods low in fat, as well as vegetables and cereals. Particularly useful – vegetable oil, soy products, vegetables and pineapples. Supplements to the diet – pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds, almonds and walnuts. Adjust your weight with the help of iodized salt, liver, dark meat, spinach, kale and asparagus (broccoli). Cabbage, Brussels sprouts and cauliflower only add excess kilograms.

Recommended vitamins and supplements – B complex, vitamins C, E, calcium, iron, zinc, selenium, chromium, bifidumbakterin, herbal tea, ginseng, echinacea.
