Sesame oil has a high nutritional value and lots of useful properties. It contains essential amino acids, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins E, A, D, B1, B2, B3, C, macro and micronutrients, such as calcium, phosphorus, zinc, magnesium, manganese, silicon and iron; antioxidants sesamol and squalene, phytin, phytosterols, phospholipids, and others.
Due to its rich composition, sesame oil has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system and immunity. Furthermore, it possesses anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties, improves vision, skin condition, hair and nails.
Just 1 teaspoon of sesame oil equals the daily requirement in calcium for the organism. Thus, the use of this oil is necessary for the full development of bone and cartilage tissues.
