Camelina oil is so valuable as cedar oil, and is very similar in composition. It is famous for its range of medicinal substances – high magnesium content, polyunsaturated fatty acids and such vitamins as E, A and D. Due to its flavoring qualities, camelina oil is reminiscent of sesame oil, and is sometimes called the “German sesame”.
Taking into account that this oil is favorably differs by its high level of polyunsaturated acids Omega-3 and Omega-6 – linoleic and linolenic, its use is very important in fat and cholesterol metabolism. Camelina oil is recommended to take daily once a day. This should be done in the morning on an empty stomach, 1 tablespoon within 2-3 months.
