Apple mono diet
Apple diet is the most common, simple and affordable way of weight loss, but it refers to rigid diets. It is convenient that you can use it at any time of the year. But it’s best to do it during the mass ripening of apples, namely from June to September.
This is a mono diet which is designed for seven days, during which you can lose 5-7 kg of excess weight. During the first and the seventh day, daily caloric content of the diet can reach only 350 calories when you use green apples and 470 calories – using sweet varieties. However, such nutrition is still considered to be useful. Thus, you can not only lose weight rather effectively but improve your health. The point is that apples are rich in vitamins and trace elements, as well as fiber. It helps to improve digestion and weight loss.
The main provisions of this diet are fairly standard, but let’s list them.
Be mentally prepared for the fact that within a week you will eat only apples. During this time, you should drink more water – up to 1.5-2 liters per day; you can also use green tea without sugar. Try to spend more time outdoors – go to work on foot or walk around with mp3 player, but don’t overtire! If you find it too hard to withstand such regime, it is allowed to add some rye crackers or breads to your daily ration. Be careful if you are not sure about your health. It is imperative to consult your doctor for advice before using similar diets. General advice – use the sweet varieties of apples if you have high acidity of the stomach; don’t use the diet with severe gastrointestinal diseases; if you suffer from bloating, flatulence or diarrhea, you can replace fresh apples by baked apples. They have the same caloric content, but in such form of cooking, they less irritate the intestinal walls.

Day 1: 1 kg of apples /1 rye cracker from rye bread 3 times a day/
Day 2: 1.5 kg of apples
Day 3: 2 kg of apples
Day 4: 2 kg of apples
Day 5: 1.5 kg of apples
Day 6: 1.5 kg of apples
Day 7: 1 kg of apples /2-3 crackers from rye bread/
Divide the daily norm of apples on 6 portions; this will reduce the feeling of hunger during the day. Thus, the caloric content of the diet will range from 350 to 900 calories per day. The calorie content of one medium apple is 80 calories.
